Gris Alba is a natural granite quarried in Spain, characterised by a uniform light‑grey background that often displays subtle mica shimmer. The stone exhibits a fine‑grained, equigranular texture with a panallotromorphic structure, giving it a smooth, consistent appearance without pronounced veining. Its neutral tone and fine grain make Gris Alba suitable for both polished and honed finishes, ideal for flooring, wall cladding, countertops and exterior applications. Marmi di Carrara supplies Gris Alba in robust blocks and ready‑to‑install slabs of 2–3 cm thickness, offering cut‑to‑size services and real‑time photos of actual slabs before purchase.

Gris Alba Granite: complete guide
Overview
Gris Alba is a grey Spanish granite with a uniform, understated appearance. It is designed for anyone who wants a hard-wearing, neutral stone suitable for many applications.
History and origin
It is one of the many grey granites produced in Spain, a country that exports stone all over the world. Materials of this kind are used for paving, cladding and building components. It is an imported material available as slabs and formats. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.
Appearance
The background is medium grey with white and black crystals distributed evenly. The slabs look regular, with slight differences in tone between lots. Polishing intensifies the grey; flaming lightens it and makes the surface rough.
Uses
It is used for floors, stairs, kitchen worktops, bathroom vanity tops, façades and outdoor paving. It suits both residential and commercial settings. For a very warm, textured space it can be paired with wood or beige stones.
Care and maintenance
Routine cleaning with pH-neutral detergents. Protect worktops with a stain-proofing product and renew it periodically. Outdoors, washing with water is sufficient.
