Milas Kavaklidere is a white marble quarried in Turkey, in the Milas region of the Aegean hinterland. Its bright white background is crossed by occasional soft purple-grey veins, giving interiors a calm yet distinctive character. The texture is fine to medium grained, with a compact crystalline structure confirmed by petrographic analysis. This Turkish marble is well suited to flooring, wall cladding, bathroom tops, stairs and general interior applications, in both classic and contemporary settings. Polished and honed finishes are the most requested; brushed and tumbled surfaces also work well. Marmi di Carrara supplies Milas Kavaklidere as blocks, slabs 2 and 3 cm and cut-to-size pieces, with photos of the actual slabs before purchase.
