History and origin

It is quarried in the Chiampo valley, in the province of Vicenza, one of the most important stone districts in Italy. Chiampo has been widely used in churches, public buildings and homes. Marmi di Carrara supplies it on request.

Appearance

An ivory-beige background with small fossils and lighter or darker spots, a delicate, natural look. Polished it gains pearly reflections.

Uses

Care and maintenance

Clean with water and pH-neutral detergents, drying with a soft cloth; avoid acids, bleach and abrasive products.
