Ballyknockon is a fine-grained granite sourced from the quarries of Ireland, known for its subtle grey hue and delicate, fine-grained texture. The stone displays a subtle, uniform grain with occasional light veining that adds depth without overpowering its understated elegance. Ballyknockon is highly prized for its durability and resistance to weathering, making it an ideal choice for both interior and exterior applications such as flooring, wall cladding, countertops, and architectural facades. It accepts a range of finishes, from polished to honed, and can be cut to custom sizes. Marmi di Carrara supplies Ballyknockon in blocks, 2–3 cm slabs, and cut-to-size pieces, with photographs of actual slabs available before purchase.
