Achill Quartzite is a natural quartzite quarried in Ireland, known for its predominantly white colour and distinctive granular texture. This durable stone often displays subtle veining and occasional mineral inclusions, giving each slab a unique character. Its high hardness and resistance to weathering make it ideal for both interior and exterior applications, including kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, wall cladding, and flooring. A honed or brushed finish enhances its natural matte appearance, while a polished finish reveals a subtle sheen. Marmi di Carrara supplies Achill Quartzite in blocks, slabs of 2 or 3 cm thickness, and cut-to-size pieces, always providing photographs of the actual slabs before purchase to ensure complete satisfaction.
