Candia Red is a distinctive red limestone quarried in Greece, known for its warm, earthy hue and subtle, fine-grained texture. The stone displays gentle veining in complementary shades of pink and amber, adding depth and visual interest. Its moderate porosity and fine grain make it ideal for both interior and exterior applications, including flooring, wall cladding, countertops, and decorative panels. Candia Red can be finished in a polished, honed, or brushed texture, each enhancing its natural warmth and durability. Marmi di Carrara supplies this stone in high-quality blocks and 2–3 cm slabs, offering custom cut‑to‑size services and detailed photographs of actual slabs before purchase, ensuring architects and designers receive accurate representations of the material.
