Avja Rodgra is a grey granite quarried in Sweden, a country long celebrated for the quality and consistency of its hard stone. The material presents a relatively even, medium-fine grain with a balanced mix of light and dark minerals, giving the surface a calm, industrial-grey tone that reads as both solid and refined. This granite is well suited for high-traffic cladding, paving, steps and feature walls where durability matters as much as a restrained appearance. It takes a polished, honed or flamed finish equally well, allowing architects to choose between a subtle sheen or a slip-resistant matte surface. Marmi di Carrara supplies Avja Rodgra as raw blocks, finished slabs in 2 cm and 3 cm thicknesses, and custom cut-to-size pieces; every order is backed by photographs of the actual slabs before dispatch, so what you see on site matches what was approved.
